UK layout
Check the listing says UK layout. A UK keyboard has a tall Enter key and the pound sign above the 3.
Wired or wireless
Wired keyboards need no batteries and never drop out. Wireless ones use a small USB receiver or Bluetooth and keep the desk clear.
Membrane or mechanical
Membrane keyboards are quiet and light. Mechanical keyboards have a switch under every key, which gives a firmer feel and a longer life.
