Choosing a graphics card
Power
Check your power supply has enough wattage and the right leads. Many cards need one or more 8-pin leads, and the newest use a 16-pin 12V-2x6 connector.
Space
Measure the room in your case. Modern cards can be more than 30cm long and three slots thick.
Balance
A fast card is held back by an old processor. If yours is more than a few generations old, ask us whether the upgrade is worth doing.
